Jill Kulanko, owner of Advanced Coding Solutions is RHIA, CCS, CPC, CPC-H, and CPC-I certified. She is an AHIMA and AAPC ICD-10 approved trainer, an AHIMA ICD-10 Ambassador, and an approved PMCC Instructor, has been coding in the Denver Metro area for 18 years. She started her own contract coding company 12 years ago. She has worked as a coder at many of the hospitals in the Denver area, coding Interventional Radiology, Ancillary accounts, Same Day Surgery, Observation, Emergency Room, and Inpatient Charts. She is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and training coders to reach their career goals.

Jill obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania. Recently, she attended Regis University in Denver, Colorado and finished the Post-Baccalaureate in Health Information Management. She is currently enrolled at Regis University pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Service Administration. Jill is an active member of the coding and health information community as a member of AHIMA, AAPC, AHCAE, and NCHIMA. She is a participating member of Northern Colorado Health Information Management Association and has served on the board of directors at NCHIMA from 2010 – 2011.
